About Orangutech
Initially founded in 2003, Orangutech is 100% Canadian owned and operated with an office located in the heart of downtown Ottawa. The Orangutech name was inspired by the Orangutan, widely considered one of the most intelligent primates. Their ability to solve complex problems and use a variety of sophisticated tools has been well documented and studied. Drawing on the symbolism of the Orangutan and their expertise in technology, Orangutech was born.
Orangutech first began as a small SharePoint consulting firm, tackling niche SharePoint consulting engagements at the Canadian Federal Government. Orangutech has been at the forefront of the ever changing IT landscape. With the release of cloud solutions, Orangutech has added a diverse array of software and services to better meet our clients needs without the need for custom development.
In addition to our variety of software and solutions, Orangutech works closely alongside Microsoft driving enterprise-level cloud adoption through expertise in EDRMS in M365, Teams, SharePoint, PowerApps and SharePoint to GCDocs. Orangutech has established itself as Ottawa's recognized leader in Digital Workplace, User Adoption, and Information Management.
